Harlem Reinassance
The harlem renaissance was a time for african americans to express themselves intellectually, artistically and socially.
The Harlem Renaissance was an important time for every African American during the 1920s. It was a time after a long period of confinement and restriction that the African American community felt a break and decided to let out their emotions through jazz music, paintings, new advances in education and more. The Harlem renaissance was a wonderful time for the arts to show how important it was for people. The arts allowed the African American community to show their true feelings after being confined for such a long time. The art and music that was created during this time also reflects the way the African American community was feeling during the 1920s and is a great importance to many historians who research agency rather than teleology.
